    Cozy Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious room, complete with a microwave and fridge, making it easy to store snacks. The beautiful nature trails nearby were a bonus for us. Just a heads up, bring your own breakfast as this place doesn't offer it.

    log cabin charm
    friendly staff

    Great for families seeking nostalgia

The log cabin style was really charming and had character, felt like a trip back in time. The staff was super nice and even offered up good tips for nearby hiking spots. Our kids loved the playground! They spent hours out there.

It was a tad pricey for what you get, but I guess that's how it is these days.

    cozy cottage
    outdoor swimming pool
    outdated decor

We had such a great time staying in the cozy duplex cottage, where we enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch while the kids played in the garden area. The outdoor swimming pool was a perfect spot for a refreshing dip after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, the decor could use a little updating, but it didn’t bother us too much! 😊

I truly enjoyed the quaint charm and beautiful surroundings of Highland Hills Motel & Cabins. The wood-burning fireplace and cozy atmosphere made it a delightful retreat, especially for seniors looking for comfort and relaxation.

Minor updates needed throughout the property.

    cozy cabins
    nearby arcade
    great location
    outdoor seating
    lack of shade

Our family had an amazing time enjoying the cozy cabins. We spent afternoons at the nearby arcade and took turns on the bumper cars, making unforgettable memories together. The location was perfect, giving us easy access to nearby ski slopes and hiking trails.

In my wife's opinion, the outdoor seating could use more shade. Bringing a few umbrellas would enhance comfort during sunny days, especially for families with children.

    log cabin room
    family atmosphere
    playground access
    maintenance issues
    difficult access

I enjoyed the log cabin style room. The space was larger than I expected, and my kids had fun at the playground nearby. I appreciated the walking trail across from our room where I took my dog to explore. It felt like a nice retreat for our family. My partner and I could sit on the balcony with coffee, enjoying the moment. We had a good time overall during our three-night stay as a family.

Some maintenance issues included a constant drip from the sink and tub. The door to the balcony was difficult to open.
